I like the idea of more convenient second layers if we can ensure that users keep their keys and are not stolen by IBM blockchain-as-a-service or Amazon Managed Blockchain. After a while, I doubt that the lone guy with a gun feels like he's stealing.

    Yes, I think layer 2 brings more promise. There is an extra security when users are completely the keepers of their keys.
