What do you do when that beautiful idea of yours meets with failure and rejection? What happens when there is no support for that idea to be actualized? Do you just give up or do you try again.
Failure is an inevitable part of life, it is what you do with the failures you experience that determine whether you will be successful or not.
The biggest obstacle to success is not failure but the fear of failure, the fear of failure has killed the dreams of several persons even before they took any step towards actualizing the dream, the fear of failure subjects you to a life of unrealized potentials.
The words of Elon Musk, a successful business man who today is celebrated globally “If things are not failing, then you are not innovating” this are the words from the richest man in the world who has successfully built for himself a fortress out of the several failures he experienced on his journey to the top.
The path to success is always full of thorns, only those who are determined and focused will make it to the top.
Failure is the womb for success, the fear of failure is the beginning of failure, until you learn to brace up to the failures you encounter on your way to success, you will keep failing.
Thomas Edison known for his invention of the light bulb failed 999 times, when he was interviewed on why he failed 999 times, he said “Never say I failed 999 times, say I discovered 999 ways which causes failure”.
Today Thomas Edison is celebrated not because he failed 999 times but because even in the midst of that massive number of failures, he was determined to see the actualization of his dream. Success in the face of failure doesn’t come by focusing on the number of times you failed but rather it comes from focusing on the result you hope to achieve. The result fuels determination in you.
If Thomas Edison threw his hands and gave up his dreams after 999 failures, there would have been no light bulb which has now become a household requirement likewise jack ma who was rejected 30 times but today has become the richest man in china, he was rejected multiple times in his quest but today he is the owner of alibaba group, he said in one of his interviews “if you succeed every mistake becomes legendary but if you stop at failure all your mistakes remain as garbage”, it’s not easy to be successful quickly so quit the rush.
Learn from your mistakes and try again, try until you achieve your desired result. If you don’t give up, you still have a chance. Giving up is the greatest failure. Ask anybody who became successful in their quest; if they have ever failed in any aspect of their journey, chances are that they learnt new ways to improve from their mistakes.
It can be said that failure is the mother of success. If you will ever achieve success you must master the act of maximizing failures, because it is the bedrock on which every true success is laid.
You cannot achieve success without walking the path of failure; failure is a risk that you must take to be successful. Every success story was built on thorns. Success has a price and the price that one must pay to become successful is called failure. Throughout history, every great invention was once a failure.
Be determined to succeed even when you are being confronted with multiple failures, never be in a haste to succeed because every remarkable success took time, dedication and determination to come into actualization, be focused on that dream because people who try to avoid failure will fail more often than those who have their focus fixed on their goals.
A wise man once said that Success is stumbling from failure to failure with no loss of enthusiasm.
Yes, you may have failed countless times and almost at the verge of giving up, but one thing you must note is that it takes a strong will power to succeed, take those sticks of failure life throws at you and make them into a ladder that will take you to the heights of success.
Pursue that dream with all doggedness, never let the opinion and critics of people influence your determination because failure is never a friend to anybody but success is a friend to everybody, be determined to make that dream work and with the right amount of dedication and determination, success will soon come into the lime light.
Your dream never becomes a failure until you give up on it, successful people don’t give up easily, there look for possible ways to improve on the wrong steps they took before the project failed. They strategize better approaches to actualizing their dreams and projects. Those insights borne out of what we refer to as failure are a basic requirement to our growth and success if there are well improved and worked on.
The difference between successful people and those that are not successful is that while the former utilizes his failures to his advantage, the latter gave in to failure.
Every time you fail, see it as an opportunity to learn and improve on your ideas and dreams.
There are thousands of persons who try out new ideas everyday but only few have the determination to see their ideas being actualized, many persons have great ideas that have been left dormant and unactualized because when they came to the cross road of failure, their determination and resolve failed.
Every man (except he doesn’t strive for success) must come to that point where you encounter failure, there are never easy to accept but accepting them makes us stronger and resolved to achieve our desired results.
Back to the question we started with “What do you do when that beautiful idea of yours meets with failure and rejection?” the answer is, try again, and keep trying until you grasp success in your palms.
Never let your dream stop at the junction of failure, always strive for a success story. If you can dream it you can achieve it, all you need is the right mindset to see it happen.
Failure should be the fuel for success, not the obstacle that prevents it. Those who are successful without failure will not last long at the top because they will not have strategies for the unexpected. Failure is something like a vaccine that immunizes you or makes the symptoms mild when the disease arrives. We should be thankful for every time it visits us because it enriches us. @tipu curate 2
