CHARACTERISTICS OF A GOOD WIFE

It is a given fact that nobody wants to make mistakes when it comes to choosing a life partner, nobody wants to be married today and divorced tomorrow, everyone wants a peaceful and love filled home.

Having the home of your dreams is dependent on the type of spouse you marry; it is to this effect that I will be showing you some qualities of a good wife.

If it were to be in the olden days, you would have seen sex biased qualities like, she must clean the house, do the dishes, wash the clothes and all those qualities that makes a woman a complete housewife. But we are in the 21st century where most women do not end up as complete housewife as such looking for qualities of a woman who is subjected to being a complete housewife has become obsolete.

That is why I want to open our eyes to some excellent qualities that makes up the 21st century good wife.
Below are some excellent qualities that make a good wife:

Honesty:

The number one quality you must look out for in your woman is honesty, if she is not honest, then the relationship is bound to fail sooner than later, there have been many scenarios over the years where a man marries a woman before uncovering some hidden secrets about her, this should never be so, a woman who cannot be honest with her spouse is dangerous as she is capable of hiding anything from him.
For any relationship to thrive and stand the test of time there must be transparency between the couple. Never marry a woman who is secretive about some details of her life.
An honest woman is capable of keeping her home anytime, any day.

She is supportive:

Every man has a dream, no man wants a wife who does not believe in his dreams, a good wife is that woman who believes in the potentials of her man and is willing to support him to actualize the dream even at the expense of her comfort at times.
There is a popular saying that says “Behind any successful man there is a woman”. Climbing the ladder of success with a woman who is not supportive of your dreams is an added weight that resists your climbing. This has most of the time caused disagreements in many homes which in worst cases lead to separation/divorce. But a man who is supported by his wife climbs the ladder of success with confidence and peace of mind. If you ever wish to be successful (which is the desire of any man) you must go for a wife who is supportive of your dreams, the dreams of many men had been wasted and left dormant because of the kind of wife they married.

A woman who admits to her wrongs:

Admitting that one is wrong is one of the most difficult things for humans to do, it is never fun but it is necessary for a good relationship and in the long run a good home.
Everyone makes mistakes, it’s not a problem, what makes it a problem is not accepting the fact that you are wrong when you make a mistake. A wife who is stubborn in admitting that she is wrong when she make mistakes is not a good wife

material; no home is successful with a proud woman. A woman who admits her faults can keep her home.

An excellent cook:

There’s a popular adage that the way to the heart of a man is through his stomach. There is no man who is ever happy when he is hungry, a wife who can cook delicious meal can keep her man, and if she is able to keep her man, she is able to keep her home.
A woman who can cook excellent food radiates a very high degree of beauty in the eyes of her husband. The probability that a man who eats outside cheats is very high, so to avoid this, you should go for a woman who is well versed with cooking good food. A good wife ensures that her husband is well fed.

A good wife keeps her husband’s secrets:

A woman who gossips and discusses everything going on in her home with a third party outside her home is a dangerous wife. Many relationships and marriages have met with their doom because of this very bad habit. A woman who cannot keep her husband’s secrets cannot keep her home.
