Social skills is a very great necessity especially for entrepreneurs, it is not necessary to be the most smart or intelligent entrepreneur that exist but a little amount of social skill that will make customers continue to patronize that business of yours and the efficient social skill that is needed to keep the communication between board members and other members of staff.
If you are ever going to be a smart entrepreneur, you have to be willing to do less talking and asking more questions. Most often, entrepreneurs tend to assume that they know what a customer wants and they are usually not right about that, we can only know what we want and not what our customers want but we can get a glimpse into their minds when we get patient enough to ask them questions and listen to their response.
As an entrepreneur you have to be bold and avoid timidity as much as possible, when communicating with prospective clients or customers maintaining that confidence about what you do will re-assure the clients about how confident you are.
Respecting customers is very important, everyone loves to be respected no matter how they try to hide it. Respecting your customers will make them keep coming back to buy from you and supporting your business the more. If you fail to respect your customers, they will in no time feel really disrespected and stop coming to visit your business place.
When communicating with customers as a smart entrepreneur, you have to be as polite and as calm as possible, even when your customers come with an annoying complaints you are in no position to get mad or speak to them in a rude manner, you have to be composed and calm enough to address them in a proper manner.
A great smile is a very important reason to keep customers in our business, that attractive smile that will make customers feel very comfortable and pleased with doing business with you, that re-assuring smile that helps their nerves relax.
A smart entrepreneur must be willing to learn at all times, if you feel you are a master in doing business then you are already failing at what you do. Being able to devote the mind to criticism and corrections irrespective of age difference will make growth possible and even faster.
Remembering to celebrate your customers is a great reason to have them back at your door post each time, people love to be celebrated so sending them a text message to celebrate their birthdays will make them always run back to you.

Many people have these skills built in innately and it comes naturally to them. They are capable of, on the one hand, feeling comfortable being around people and, on the other, of making others feel good.
It is great to have these attributes inbuilt and if not, it is no crime to learn it.
