It's a popular believe that when you're talented, things would simply become rosy for you. But I beg to disagree with that concept. We've all seen many super talented people broke or lose all the money they made. This is because it goes beyond having talent to be truly wealthy. You must have several qualities to your personality to become wealthy.
Quite obviously, making money is different from keeping money. Most people fail to realize this. But it's easier to make money than to keep money. If you're simply talented, that may definitely impact on your ability to make money. But if you don't work really hard on your ability to keep money. You'll see yourself at the starting point again. You'll keep on making and losing the money. Moving in this ridiculous cycle. Except you change your attitude towards money all together.
Way too many people assume that having huge talent cuts it out for you completely, and that's very false, as false as saying that the earth is flat. I won't deny that having talent is a big plus, because of course the talented person had more advantages over the normal everyday person, who doesn't have as much talent. But I'm sure that you see for example, very talented musicians playing on the streets, why do you think that with so much talent they've not made it to the big screens?
Some people will answer that it's because they don't have enough money to finance themselves. That may be true in few cases. But let me tell you this truth, most of those talented musicians make some fair amount of money, and with enough discipline to save, they'll be able to showcase themselves to big producers. Belief and desire go into this much more than we can imagine. Some people are talented, but they don't believe that their talent is good enough for the big screens. They rather prefer to sing other people's song. And live in so much fear that people won't like their own music. Hiding in the shadows of other musicians, who they assume are better than themselves.
Insecurities like this, fear of going out there to the world and truly showing what you got, has made some really extremely talented people die without achieving nothing. For some talented business minded people, they're always afraid that their business idea will fail. Tell me how far can you go in life, if you're always doubting yourself and your ability? Not far, in my view. Some great business minded men are afraid to take that loan that may change their lives. Taking risks is also part of the process of turning talent into wealth.
You can't sit comfortably in your comfort zone and expect that your talent will be noticed by the big names or you'll make yourself a big name. You have to go out and struggle really hard for a place in the sky, like a star. The ways to turn your talent into wealth is by believing more in yourself, and showcasing your talent at any given opportunity. And managing your money better, because if you don't learn money management, your talent may suffer really badly for it. Then usually, you may have to take some risks, and have enough hope that it will pay off.
Almost everyone has a talent. The ability to turn it into wealth is the real deal
Precisely the point. Having talent is normal, turning it into wealth is where the genius is. It takes a lot more than just talks to make wealth out of talent. Thanks for dropping by!
And that's why so many people fail. Because they are not concerned with developing savings skills, discipline and habits that lead them to diversify their investments and plan for the future.
These points are key to boost any talent you have
You hit the nail on the head with what you mentioned above - saving skills, discipline and habits. Thoughtful comment indeed. Thanks for dropping by!
There are numerous examples of talented people who make a lot of money and spend it lavishly, at the time when they are about to retire they have nothing to fall back on any longer, making money and utilizing it properly are two different ball games.
You're absolutely correct. So many of those cases are evident. Keeping money requires a lot of discipline, which most people lack. Thanks for dropping by!
