After they understand this, they will certainly not be disappointed as quickly in case they don't start valuing them as quickly as they think.
As you explain, even though you do not have the necessary experience you have the ideas, these ideas are very necessary to organize and group them so that they gradually take shape and new users can take advantage of the generation of content.
You said this very well. A new user needs time to understand how everything works, to find friends and relations. If they would know that from the beginning probably it would put them in another mindset and it would be easier for them to grow and to stay.
