My mother-in-law used to say that she didn't know how we found each other, but in all the world we could never have found mates more suited. Two unusual people, who somehow clicked. Very different from each other and yet similar in really important ways.
I'm still surprised, after all these years, that he wanted to marry me, and that he loves me. It's a nice surprise :)
