I Successfully Found Beautiful Wild Mushrooms, Hidden Beauty of Nature (English - Español)

in Amazing nature (AN)12 days ago

Every time the rainy season arrives, nature seems to present a magical sight that many people rarely notice, where in between wet leaves, on rotten tree trunks or even on damp soil, small groups of wild mushrooms appear with various shapes and colors and their presence is a sign that the surrounding ecosystem is still healthy.

My friend, the rainy season for me is the best time to witness the existence of wild mushrooms, which usually within two to three days after the rain falls, the mushrooms start to emerge from their hiding places.

Hello, my friends, wherever you are.
In this blog, I return to this amazing community to share a blog about the beauty of a wild mushroom I discovered. A few days ago, my area was drenched by non-stop rain. In fact, the incessant rain had a huge impact. If you search your social media for #banjirsumatra, you'll see how dire some areas in my area are right now.

So, this afternoon, I had the chance to go to a plantation after almost a month without going due to a landslide. Coincidentally, while I was in the plantation, I discovered a natural beauty that many people rarely realize: a small mushroom growing wild.

Continue to follow this short blog to see the beauty of this wild mushroom, along with my short writings between the images I share this time.

Today the weather is a bit sunny and this is the atmosphere in the afternoon on my plantation.

After almost a month without going to the plantation, today I was able to return to the plantation with my uncle. As usual, when I go to the plantation, I will take a little time to find some images that I can blog about and share with this amazing community.

These are some of the images I took when I first arrived at the plantation. I hope these images can give you a glimpse of the atmosphere.

I managed to see a chameleon beside the road, but it was a bit of a shame because I didn't have time to take some pictures because the animal was very wild towards my presence.

My friend...
This reptile is one of the reptile species widely distributed in the Indonesian archipelago.

This animal is capable of changing its skin color, although not as strikingly as the color changes in certain species. Currently, this reptile's existence in my area is slightly threatened by other, larger, introduced species. As a result, its population is dwindling, and I rarely encounter one.

This chameleon can usually be found in bushes or trees on the edges of forests, gardens, or yards. I personally found it among the bushes in my plantation.

At that time, I saw it fall. I think it was chasing its prey and accidentally fell beside me. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to take out my cell phone, so I wasn't able to take some detailed photos of the animal.

If you'd like more detailed information about this reptile, you can visit Wikipedia

Then my adventure continued into the oil palm plantation area and my goal was to find one of the natural beauties that many people often ignore, namely wild mushrooms. Currently, my area is entering the rainy season and I think it is the right time for me to look for and pick some beautiful wild mushrooms.

It didn't take long for me to find it, and the mushroom I found this time was a sea urchin mushroom (in my local language).

Every time the rainy season arrives, nature seems to present a magical sight that we rarely notice. That magical sight is the beauty of wild mushrooms in diverse shapes and colors, like the one I found this time.

I once saw an article stating that my country (Indonesia) has a reputation as one of the countries with the greatest biodiversity in the world, and one of those riches is wild mushrooms. When I saw and read the article, I felt a little proud of my extraordinary country. With its abundant biodiversity, it harbors many types of wild mushrooms that have high value for both health and the economy. However, it's a bit unfortunate that this potential has not been optimally explored. In fact, some people still ignore the beauty and potential of mushrooms in my region.
Nevertheless, I was a little happy to see the beauty of wild mushrooms that are still natural and easily found in my area, especially during the rainy season.

After looking for a little information, I can conclude that this fungus is called Cookeina tricholoma. We can identify this fungus by its characteristic hairs on the inside of the mushroom's fruit body. When the spores are ripe, the cup shape of this fungus will narrow and appear closed.

My friends...
Cookeina tricholoma is a genus of cup fungi found in tropical and subtropical regions of the world. This species can also be found on fallen branches of flowering plants, tree trunks, and sometimes on fruit.

I personally found it on small twigs that were starting to rot, submerged in water.

Okay, friends, those are some images and a short post from me on this blog. I hope you all enjoyed and enjoyed what I shared.
