Onigiri is the Japanese name for food in the form of rice that is pressed while still warm so that it is triangular, round, or like a sack of rice. Also known by another name omusubi, a term that was reportedly used by women in the imperial court to refer to onigiri. Onigiri eaten by hand, not using chopsticks.

It looks so delicious! I'm really missing Japanese food off late. I hope Japan lifts curbs on people traveling in. I really wanted to be there last year and this year too. Unfortunately, it seems like i would have to wait a lot longer.

Great pictures btw, keep them coming. Would love to see more of Japan from you.

Thank you very much for the support @firepower, next time I will continue to share how about my life and how things are in Japan.

It looks very tasty and seems like it would be simple to make as well. Thanks for sharing!
