Fringe dweller, bath taker and probably soup maker

Over the last days I've browsed communities and user-feeds. I've left a few comments and had a few in reply, most have been nice which speaks highly of Hive. I researched a few other places before I landed here but never actually tried any out; none seemed worthy and many seriously unworthy.

One I found so bad I've become quite an advocate for not being there. The place that shall not be mentioned. Cough, cough Blurt! It even sounds terrible, like that sound a person makes right before they vomit. Bluuuurrrrrttt. Anyway, enough about that odious, bilious stain upon the internet.

I don't like social media, too much trash, here I see a lot of people giving up a lot of value though. I've followed a few, all of which bring their unique brand of them through writing and images and it's exciting to have so much content, good content, only a click away. I'll find more I'm certain.

I'll admit to laying in the bath last night, candles burning, light off, glass of wine beside me and eyes glued to my iPad reading blogs.

I didn't drop my iPad in the water, fall asleep and have it smack me in the nose or electrocute myself when I had to plug in the charger. I just might have dripped water on the floor when I got out of the bath to retrieve the charger though. Guilty, but being cute gets me out of all sorts of trouble, even with myself.

I was engrossed in reading and so completely content; the water was hot, I refilled it twice, and it was just perfect. Throw in a turnip, potato, a couple of carrots, an onion, salt and pepper and I'd have made a tasty soup I think! 🙃

I'm learning Hive, I don't know who is who and feel like I'm on the fringes; a fringe dweller, but not in a cool science-fiction kind of way. I'm working on it, trying to plot a course from the fringes.

I'm embarrassed about my vote value which should probably be called vote valueless. Someone told me not to worry about it, and I understand it will take some time to build, but I feel really bad leaving comments on a blog and not being able to show some vote appreciation. Building is likely to happen slowly and I've been thinking about buying Hive, especially since it's a little lower now than it has been for a while. I'll think on it this weekend. For now, I will just post and comment as time permits and will let the rest take care of itself; things have a way of working out.

Okay, I better go, I have some very important business to attend to. That's my special code for running the bath and soaking, trying not to drop my iPad in the water or turn into a tasty soup.
