Investing in luxury, or necessities?

The last few days before the night there was rain. Where it rains, it freezes in contact, and anything that touches it is covered in ice. These pictures are taken from a rented car, which has relatively basic and heated wing mirrors. Heated mirrors sound like luxurious, but in Finland and although this type of rain is relatively rare I consider them a necessity, as the car can be heated and the windows can be scraped hard. Wing mirrors cannot reduce visibility while driving a lot. It made it very clear when I use wing mirrors, when I can’t.

Arriving at work, I had an interesting conversation with a colleague who is becoming interested in investing in crypto. Although I’ve talked to him directly for over two years and have come up with a lot of conversations over the last few months with other colleagues. But what he realized was that frustration was something I had encouraged him to do from the beginning, putting some skin into the game.

In my opinion this is a requirement.

What he acknowledged was that when he began researching the benefits and possibilities of investing in crypto, he could not "trust" the information because the individuals were positively owned. They were not negative, 't. It does not cost a natural sink or create skin in game problems. Where people were speaking from their own position and it was not the intended purpose. Yet everyone thought their opinion was correct.

All he needed to do was set the conditions so that he could form his own opinion. For which you need to buy some crypto to get some experience. Not only does the purchase give a new position, all the important skins of the game that engage the mind and emotions, as opportunities for gain and loss, as well as begin to feel a sense of ownership.

When he asked me what he should do when buying. I said I could help him. But I do not advise or take responsibility for profit or loss - it must be an option, I am not his or anyone else's guru of course, I told him, do not invest that you are not willing to lose the statement completely. But I also added that it means you will be annoyed if you get frustrated, because it creates an edge that attracts attention.

As I mentioned, the other coworkers who are talking about this time are just doing it because they bought it. Once they had some skin on their game, once they became interested in the chances of winning and losing. For most people, while the theory may involve the mind for a short period of time, practical application occurs after it has turned into thought, conversation, and action. It is possible to think about any subject. The believer knows a lot, but when new steps are taken new thoughts come which proves that there is more to learn.

It is part of the Dunning-Cruiser in action, when an amateur can feel very confident with their knowledge and abilities. A professional knows their limitations and understands that there is much more to learn. That is why, "The more I learn, the less I know." Each solution leads to 100 new problems.

As I said, creating an investment mindset is not just about investing. This requires the development of many more aspects, including recognizing and enabling sensitive impact and response management strategies. It is much easier to detect with the little skin of the game, because the pain of the lesson is perceived not only by the imagination, but visually.

As has been said, investing is not a luxury in my own opinion. This is a requirement. Although we can talk about the factors related to financial availability that affect the ability to invest, the crux of the matter is time, money and energy in every activity. I believe that in many cases it is like the mirrors in my wing. I don’t have access to their reflective abilities if I can’t see them and identify the space around me. Once visibility is present. Opportunities to be exposed to the game and get a little skin raises questions and inspires us to explore.
