Corporate behavior is a clear sign that the way we knew a year ago is less likely to favor the world. In October 2020, Microsoft and MasterCard allowed partial or permanent remote work. Even if these national monsters are forced to change. But what can we say about small business and company employees!

The study found that most managers around the world plan to close staff offices and work remotely. That is, a temporary arrangement has become a permanent one. Remote work is already becoming the norm. As a result, we observe how positions, occupations, and requirements for employees are being modified. Something is becoming a thing of the past. Some are actively developing (for example, the VR and data science industries).

Familiar and proven templates no longer work with the same efficiency. Business is actively running online. To keep up with the demands of the time, the owners of the company need to change. Need to look for new solutions, master new methods. Transform, like the days of the Great Geographical Discovery, the rise of the factory or the development of the Internet.

We have all heard at least once that crisis is a factor in a person's development. Now we are experiencing it. When old schemes do not work and often exacerbate the situation. This is the first and foremost signal for change.

However, even in such a situation any expert tries to keep up with the demand and get appropriate remuneration for efficiency. Any leader dreams of laying the foundation for the sustainable development of the company. This requires restoring some old vision and "pumping" new skills and qualities.

It is only the internal resources - the psychological and physical forces that are necessary for the transformation and inherent in all. And remains to establish a connection to determine direction.

What qualities are needed today?


First, it’s important to be enthusiastic about what you do. It cannot be called a personal quality. But it is difficult to work from a distance if you do not have love for your work. It is always persuaded to go to your favorite show or hobby. And, if your business needs to try and bargain with yourself. However, without the supervision of the general office, the possibility of confusion increases rapidly. In order to be highly effective, it is important to first look for the motivation, desire and skills to work on yourself and concentrate on the work at hand.

Third, social adaptability. Even if you are deeply introverted and do the paperwork, you need social and communication skills. Understanding people, the ability to find ways, the need to explore and “pain”. In any case, you need to talk to important customers, management or contractors and employees. Communication did not disappear anywhere. It has just been converted.

When primitive man reached the first foot, no one had any idea how it would change the world. But it was this small event that led us to modern civilization.

Today, it is more important than ever to take your first steps in terms of information noise, digitization and global change. This is where your transformation as a professional and personality will begin. A step thanks to which you will become a true, qualified, in-demand expert in your favorite field.
