International Anti-Narcotics Day 2022, "Fast Work, Great Work in Combating Drugs in Indonesia".

Assalamualaikum Hive friends, I want to share a little experience that I got from yesterday while preparing to carry out the peak activities of the International Anti Narcotics Day Activities, until today.

In preparation for this event, we have prepared at least one day before the event, starting from cleaning the room, decorating the room, and also preparing all supporting devices for zoom preparation. Last afternoon we worked well with our fellow teammates so that everything was neatly organized and in the shortest possible time we had completed all of our respective tasks.

Today I went to the location at 07.30 WIB and arrived at the location at 07.55 WIB before the event started. In this activity, I acted as a public relations team that took documentation of every detail of the activity and also prepared all the elements that made today's activity a success.

The National Narcotics Agency (BNN) of Lhokseumawe City held an activity to commemorate International Anti-Narcotics Day with the theme "Fast Work, Great Work on Combating Drugs in Indonesia" which was held on Monday 27 June 2022 at the Lhokseumawe Mayor's office at 08.00 WIB until finished. The activity was carried out by Virtual Account via Zoom in the Hall of the Mayor's Office which was attended by all invited guests from the Lhokseumawe Forkopimda ranks, the Mayor and his Deputy and also all personnel of the Lhokseumawe City National Narcotics Agency by complying with health protocols. This activity was held by all BNN offices throughout Indonesia, be it the Republic of Indonesia BNN (BNN-RI), Provincial BNN (BNNP) in the Province branch and City BNN (BNNK) throughout the City District.

In this activity which was carried out virtually, Mr. Jokowi Dodo, the President of the Republic of Indonesia, said in his speech that:

“Drugs are a very serious threat that can paralyze the positive energy of the nation. And it will threaten the future of the nation caused by the destruction of generations because of these illicit goods."

Because of this, Jokowi invites all elements of the nation to work together in terms of protecting the nation's generation from narcotics network syndicates by providing education on the health impacts and legal implications of narcotics as well as making all efforts to prevent and eradicate rehabilitation. He also stated in his speech:

"I invite the whole community in all elements to make this International Anti-Narcotics Day 2022 to make a commitment as a strong determination and good cooperation as well as efforts that never subside in order to free the nation's children from the snares of narcotics."

On another occasion, we also listened to the head of BNN-RI, the Commissioner General of the police, Mr. Petrus Rainhard Golose, conveying in his speech that the commemoration of International Anti-Narcotics Day is a momentum and a form of world concern for the problem of drug abuse and illicit trafficking which is increasing and is increasingly worrying the nation. And he also said that "this is a challenge that requires attention, cooperation and a quick and agile solution in line with the theme of the International Anti-Narcotics Day, namely "Fast Work, Great Work to Fight Drugs in Indonesia".

After a few remarks were delivered in this activity, the event ended with a million hopes that this nation would be free from the entanglements of drug abuse and illicit trafficking.
