MY INTRODUCTION TO THE HIVE COMMUNITY

Hello Hive community,behold your newling!

I heard of the Hive blog a couple of months back,all efforts by @tomlee to get me started then, proved abortive because I felt it's like every other social media platform where plagiarism is not frowned at.
Just then,he explained to me the workability of Hive; how it applauds time spent on the platform, creativity and originality and I deemed it fit to join the Hive community.
Hive is a place to be, looking forward to enjoying my stay on the platform.

LETS KNOW ME

Talking about me,my name is Usen-idara Benson. I'm the third child in the family of seven(mum and dad inclusive).
Akwa Ibom State of Nigeria I'm from and reside in.

My dad,a retired nurse having gone through formal education,saw the need of education and enrolled me to start up my primary education at Christian Fellowship Nursery/Primary School where I got my First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC),after which I proceeded to Adiaha-obong secondary Commercial School where I got my junior WAEC and thereafter to Mid-town where I sat for and obtained my senior WAEC.
I furthered my education to a higher institution where I studied Accounting for the period of four years. As a patriotic citizen,I obeyed the Clarion call to serve my fatherland for the period of one year.

During my national assignment,I undertook some professional courses in relation to my field that would help me build a better career in Accounting,some of which include: Human Resources Management (HRM), Project Management (PR), Customer Service and Relationship Management (CSRM) among others, because of my love for education.

In a way to strike a balance,I was also undergoing a training on fashion designing so it could be a source of income in the near future.

After my National Assignment,I saw the need to engage in a business that would thrive and also bring another source of income - as I don't support the idea of a one stream income.
Flourish & Scent that deals on perfumes, body spray,body milk and deodorants has been running for a couple of months now and God has been faithful.

I love music (classical especially), traveling, watching people dance(as I can't dance), and reading.

I am of the school of thought that: consistency is what transforms average into EXCELLENCE; one of the reasons I joined this platform.
Whatever one does with consistency paves way to success - this has been tested and proven by me.

Hoping to learn a whole lot from the Hive platform and also contributing my quota to making this platform an interesting, informative,educating and fun.

Hoping to explore communities of interest like Christian fellowship,ulog community,stem community, OCD community,Gems community,among others.
