Hivers, it's my 30th! Wish me a Happy birthday

Today is my birthday, dear hivers! It’s another beautiful year of my life, and I’m so deeply grateful to God for it. This one feels different, not just because it’s another birthday, but because it marks the beginning of a whole new chapter. Today, I officially step onto the 30s floor, and that alone makes this day so special. Sometimes I can’t believe how time flies. This small girl who used to dream, play, and talk about the future is now 30. Wow! Thirty years on earth, what a journey. All I can say is thank God. I return all the glory to Him for His love, care, mercy, and protection over my life. Through every season, the joyful moments and the trying ones, God has been constant.

I’m also very thankful for my family and loved ones, especially my amazing parents who have been there for me through every phase of my life. Their love, prayers, and sacrifices mean more than words can express. I wouldn’t be who I am today without them. To my friends, both old and new, who have shared laughter, tears, and memories with me, thank you. Every person who has crossed my path has contributed in one way or another to the woman I’ve become.

Turning 30 has made me pause and reflect deeply. Thirty years is not small; it’s three decades of lessons, growth, and grace. If I could speak to those still in their twenties, I would tell them a few things I’ve learned along the way. Your twenties are such an important stage , it’s a time to build, grow, and plant seeds that your thirties will harvest. Build good friendships and relationships that will add value to your life. As you grow older, you realize that people get busier, everyone is chasing their own goals, and loneliness can creep in if you don’t have genuine people around you. Having the right people by your side makes life softer, warmer, and more meaningful.

Another big lesson I’ve learned is that no one is coming to save you. Harsh truth, but real. You have to rise, act, and help yourself. Everyone is busy with their own life, trying to figure things out, and before anyone can even think of helping you, they will first think of themselves. That’s not wickedness, it’s just life. So you need to be strong for yourself. Don’t wait for people’s validation or support before you start what’s in your heart. Push yourself, stay consistent, and believe that your small steps today will build your future tomorrow.

To anyone reading this, I want you to know that time waits for no one. Do what you have to do now. Start small, start afraid, but just start. One day, you’ll look back and thank yourself for not giving up.

So here’s to 30 🥰a new decade of purpose, peace, and fulfillment. I’m grateful, I’m wiser, and I’m excited for what’s ahead. I know the years ahead is going to be the bestest year of my life.
