Relationship is very vital to our life and different people in the world want to get to a place in their life where someone is able to walk them down the aisle and have someone to love for the rest of their life.People are going to altars ,people are coming together to say 'I do' and majority does not even have a clue what they are going to be doing.Marriage cannot give you what you don't have before you got into it.What you bring into marriage is what is called marriage.You determine your marriage.Marriage is like an empty cup,its also like a vacuum.The quality of the marriage is determined by the quality of people in that marriage.If you have two angry couple,you have an angry marriage.If you have two wise couple,you have a wise marriage.Marriage is like an empty cup,fill it up water,it becomes a cup of water.Fill it up with juice,it becomes a cup of juice.Fill it up with poisson,it becomes a cup of poisson. The cup is not the problem,the content is the problem. When you are concentrating on the container and not the content,you are not wise enough.Spend time to work on yourself more.
A lot of people out there are enduring marriage instead of enjoying it. A lot are living as room mate but not soul mate. Why? Because they hooked up with a man/woman and believed in this mentality that when they get married many great things will happen but they are dissapointed because they are expecting a man/woman to do in their life what only the creator can do and then they keep living in a fool's paradise.Many go into marriage because they are looking for license for sex not because they are ready for responsibilities.When they get in there they discover the sex is not enough,when responsibilities of life like kids school fee,house rent,car problem,electricity bills and many more hits you,the legs will be wide open for you,all you'll say is baby please close up.
When you do a statistics asking people about their desires in relationship,you discover the selfishness of humanity that brings them to become casualties of love.When you ask a man which kind of woman he'll want to marry,you'll get these response:
-I want a woman that'll be there for me.
-I want a woman that'll submit to me.
-I want a woman that'll take care of me.
You'll discover its all about the ' I's, Me and Myself'.
Ask the woman too its as vice-versa.You find out the man is coming with an expectation to receive so as the woman,and so whatever you multiply by zero equals zero. So they both go in empty to get something only to get into marriage and discover its what you bring into marriage that makes it a marriage.Marriage does not give you fruits if you have not planted before marriage. Make a wise decision today on concentrating more on the content (yourself) and not the container (marriage).I'm optimistic your marriage will be a blissful one.
