This is the problem with much of it, as even if we make our own decisions, I think so many of them are made by what we consume - so, depending on what we are eating, our decisions are affected. A lot of people buy crap because someone on TikTok (or whatever) said to buy it, and they think they are making the decision themselves.
Freedom! :)
Some simply are not designed to be game masters. While they are capable of following whatever they think they freely chose, they are still simply following something unable to determine that choice maybe cost them their life in the end or someone else's. So the question then is did their freedom to make those shitty choices was worth it? Was it the best outcome for them and others?
Life doesn't give two shits about our freedoms. At some point it will smack you in the head and tell you it is about enough. That is the ultimate Game Master and The world pre-set rules.
