When you are active on hive there is two simple ways you can make money either participate in the content creation else find best content.

In this post we are focusing on finding content based earning called curation rewards I will try to make it simple so everyone can understand this how curation works on hive.

understand rewards

When an author creates an content, the reward earned by the post divided into two parts:-

1. author reward
2. curator reward

Author reward belongs to author, and curator reward belongs to curators

So let’s understand how you can get curators reward.

finding great content

This is the simplest way of getting curation reward, if you see great content with low rewards then upvote it after 5 minutes of the post creation (this is the window to avoid spam in curation ) if after you upvoting that post earn more rewards then there will be reward for you as well because you find that content before others.
This is how curation works, but every time great post earn rewards sometimes it doesn’t but if you are hunter of great content then definitely you can make great rewards.

How much you can make

It really based in your hive power (HP), and when you find the content if you have less HP but finds the content before any else then you will definitely make some hive.

what are the rules ??

Rules for curation are easy if you find the content and you think it deserves some reward, so upvote it after 5 minutes of the post creation.

• The time window is the main rule to be noticed because if you vote before 5 minutes then you will not get the curation.

• vote the post before 7 days, because after 7 days the reward for the post is disabled means there is only 7 days for a single post to earn reward.

posting & voting limits

It totally depends on you hive power , larger you have you will get more numbers to post and vote but even if you have 100Hp then the numbers are quite high for posting and voting.

There is no limits on posting and voting on hive when you have HP in your wallet.
