My introduction post on hive

Hi everyone, it's nice to meet all of you, and I am glad to be here.

My name is Snow Bhale, and I am 17 years old. Although I was born and raised in London, UK, I am originally from South Africa. Both of my parents are South Africans, and our roots trace back to Johannesburg, Gauteng. I live with my mom, who is a single parent, along with my younger brother and sister.

I am currently in Year 12 at Brampton Manor Academy, where I am following a science-focused curriculum. My goal is to pursue a degree in nursing, specializing in critical care. My inspiration to enter the healthcare field comes from my mom. She has always been a role model for me, demonstrating immense courage and strength. Raising three children on her own hasn't been easy, but she's managed to make us feel secure and cared for.

Beyond my passion for science, I also enjoy writing, singing, dancing, and listening to music. Despite my petite stature, I consider myself quite the foodie! Writing has always been my escape. It was especially helpful during my parents' divorce. At that time, my sister stayed with my aunt, and my mom was pregnant with my brother, so my stories and imagination became my closest companions.

At school, I am an active member of the science club and the drama club. I contribute as a scriptwriter for our drama club, although I don't get to participate in performances as much. Still, it’s a great way to spend my limited free time.

I first learned about Hive blockchain through a post I stumbled upon on Quora. I'm eager to connect with new people here and share my stories, ideas, and creativity with all of you.
