Being a Threeper is helping people were you can help others when able.
Helping keep family's safe and teaching others how to be self sufficient.
Here in North Carolina our group is focused on more being self sufficient with some of us growing gardens and building cool gadgets for some homestead ideas most often.
Teaching each other tricks we learn while out on Field training going out as a group.
Most of the skills we learn is done teaching ourselves then teaching others.
learning over the years the skills to survive out in the woods with minimum gear.
Knowing how to hunt, trap and scavenge for food when needed and how to always have clean water.
We stand together as Americans not everyone has the same views but we as a group have the one common thing that brings us together and that's the love for our country.
We would do anything to keep this country standing.
Keeping the roots of the constitution and the people.
Gear does not make a Threeper always having the basics is always better then having the best.
You don't need the best rifles vest or gear having good quality gear is what I go for.
As one of the rules of thumb a lot of Threepers are preppers as well.
Having skills in medical, bush craft and many other hobbies/skills.
Being able to do things your self enables you to be more reliant on you friends and family.
Like the blue collar work ethic work hard for what you got.
One of the threeper mind sets in my opinion is one who is aware of their surroundings.
Making the right calls under stress from their surroundings in the moment and making a call in the spilt seconds that could save a life in any emergency.
And this can just be being prepared for a car crash having what you need in your vehicle.
For when and if that scenario happens so you can help yourself and other if needed.
Having food for family saving when the food on the shelves gets scarce.
Being a Threeper and a prepper go hand and hand for the ideas for being self sufficient.
One of the things our group did was when Hurricane Florence hit North Carolina.
We had a few take a big military truck full with donations from us and others taken down to the coast as the hurricane hit.
Doing our best to help in the circumstances given to our state.
Being a hunter as well providing food in that way keeping skills honed like firearms training is one area I focus on.
Making sure when I'm on a hunt and have the opportunity to bag an animal I have the practice to do so.
[side note this is the rifle that I bagged my deer last year]
learning from others that shoot way better then from time to time I've picked a few things up.
I do believe the American dream can still be achieved.
And there will always be Americans there to defend it.
