John Whittingdale, a Conservative MP unironically stated in an interview that “people who are important” shouldn’t have to follow the same exact quarantine rules as the rest of the population. He was referring to special measures enacted to allow UEFA officials and football players to enter the UK in order to participate in the Euro 2020 final on July 11. without having to quarantine.
“The list of those allowed to bypass the government’s quarantine restrictions include executive members of UEFA, members of the council of FIFA and senior executives of the companies sponsoring Euro 2020,”
While ordinary people can't even go on a well-deserved holiday and have to quarantine upon return, the British government changed the rules to enable the VIPs to circumvent the hassle of having to quarantine when they arrive in the country.
It goes to show how little governments think of their own people, belittling them by labeling them as insignificant" while glorifying those that keep the bread and circuses going.
This should come as no surprise as we already know that their main agenda is to keep our minds continually occupied by meaningless and trivial matters, while they conspire to reduce our quality of life to a bare minimum.
It's appalling to see how blatantly and overtly they operate nowadays and even more shocking to see how little people seem to care about the freedoms they've given up so easily.
Freedoms, which they won't be getting back any time soon.
All the while elites and their cronies enjoy full, unrestricted, freedom.

I have been flying back and forth from Japan to California & vice versa. While it was annoying doing the paperwork and quarantines, I noticed the affluent were jet setting just like they always have. Oh, an no Corona despite all my travels.
