A few weeks ago - right before the lockdown in Bulgaria we took a trip to an abandoned factory 20-30 kilometers away from home.
I've been to this place before but we didn't have much time to explore so I've had this place on my bucket list for the last year. So one lovely day i decided to call a buddy and hop in the car.
The place is kinda weird for an abandoned place. I've been to many of that sort and usually there are a few things you can find. There is always signs of homeless people like bottles of alcohol some food wrappers, even syringes - non of that could be found there and its not that far from the capital city for that to be the reason. Another weird thing is that there were no stray dogs which is unusual given that there were many in the area. Not even rats and mice... it's quite weird for me cause from all the abandoned places i've been to this is a first. The factory had been used to work on heavy trucks and machinery for industrial purposes but i saw a small first aid kit with a few antidotes for stuff that I don't know anything about and didn't understand completely.
There were many interesting things there but in this post i would like to share a bunch of photos of the rooms that i checked there. If you check my previous post you will see that i love using a fish-eye lens for photography so i found a fun short series that i decided to do when i was there. All the rooms, typically for soviet architecture, are almost the same but the interior and paint is different and i found that interesting. You can get a different sense in each and yet they are the same. So here are the shots :
The blue one is my favorite!
In the end of the trip we went to a nearby lake that used to be a mine, before it was filled with water - i don't yet know the story behind it but here is a shot
I had this post on the steemit and transferred it here to be a part of my blog since I only post on Hive.
Thanks for sticking with this post to the end :) I hope you found those photos interesting and I really hope you are all feeling well and healthy!
