#1 i feel sad | war in Ukraine from my point of view

It's been a month since me and my family, both with @danyakey and @mark3004 are left our home in Kiev.

We woke up at 5 am, from the sounds of explosions, my wife told me that, "seems like it's not a salute", I told her to remain quiet and started to monitor some telegram channels and chats. The war started.

I realized it a few seconds later and moments later I was sitting in a car, heading to the nearest gas station to fill in a full tank...

Then I went to my mom's apartment, she wasn't asleep when I came in, I asked her if she's leaving with us, and she said no, she didn't want to leave without her cats...

I took my cryptowallets and seed phrases with me and went out, in 2 hours me and my family started our journey towards west, didn't believe what is happening, and wondering, when this bad dream will be over.

It took us 4 hours to get out from the city line, and almost 12+ hours to get to Rivne city line, where we took a hotel room for night sleep.

Our lunch started at 7pm with a hot dogs and a beer.

Later this evening the news came about general mobilization and a ban on traveling abroad for men 18-60. I was ready for traveling hours and hours without taking any rest, but fuck, I never thought, I can be in the situation, when I cannot leave the country, to whatever safe place I want.

We decided to go as far as we can, and spent all the next day driving, last 10 km we drove over 4 hours cuz of the checkpoint on the border of Zakarpattia and Ivano - Frankivsk oblast.

after midnight on 26/02/22 we came to the land of @tsypabeer - Kvasy village, where my friend let us live in the small hotel room. He told me there's no way to legally cross the border, but I was thinking about the illegal crossing. Still thinking btw.

It's been one month, during that month, I couldn't write, work, and think, all the information background is about bombing, explosions, dying children, dying people, destroyed towns, cities, families split out.

Now all of this seems to be normal, but how normal it is in the 21 century in the middle of Europe.

For now i Pray for this fucking war to end, so people can get back to their homes, see their families and friends, and be safe.
