Hi Everyone thanks for reading ,im 40 something and new to social media ( yes i've been living in a cave 😃) just kidding.skype_picture_1375_.jpeg

I grew up in a small town in the south east of England and then relocated to the south west of France some 10 years ago and have been renovating old French houses since arriving here.

I'm a builder by trade and my work is one of my hobbies along with mechanics.
Things of interest to me are Motor bikes and riding them, music and playing guitar, technology and computing with rasberry pi and arduino ( a steep learning curve) for creating an internet of things to operate items on a coach i'm currently converting.

I love food! cooking and eating it!
other areas of interest are ancient building, structures and history, cave paintings and theorising about the un solved mysteries of life.....

I'll be writing about the topics above with pictures of all from bike rides to the coach conversion and much more.....i look forward to meeting you all and making friends along the way, thanks for reading and until next time roconnor out

Hello @roconnor ! This is @proteancreator from @ocd (Original Content Decentralized) team, and I just want to say that that's some fine introduction post you got!

If you're interested in cooking food, I think you should really make a go for the Cook and Bake or the Foodies Bee Hive community.
If you're interested in Architecture and Design, there's also an Architecture and Design community.

It's always best to subscribe to other Communities you like, so you could share your blogs there to have a wider range of audience 😄 or check out more of related content to subscribe to. Checking out the Communities Incubation Program also is a good move.

Welcome to Hive! Hope things are going well for you in France. We have some interests in common with guitar and Raspberry Pi. I'm not so good at DIY and mechanics, but we did have a house built and I did some of the work on that.

Have fun!
