The Mandalika Circuit is said to be a new paradise in the world of World Superbike (WSBK) motorcycle racing by foreign media.
On Saturday (27/11), Speedweek published an article entitled 'Lombok: A new paradise for World Superbike'. This article describes the media's admiration for the Mandalika Circuit which successfully held the Mandalika WSBK on 20-21 November.

"Every race on a new track is very exciting and usually sets a new standard. There is no experience at the Mandalika circuit, but the experience in Indonesia stands out a bit. This new Mandalika circuit is a worthy backdrop for the 2021 WSBK final," the media wrote.

"It is understandable that not everything went smoothly. But there were no serious accidents either [at the Mandalika Circuit]. Complaints from the teams and drivers were barely audible, quite the opposite. Most of them fell in love with the paradise of Lombok."

According to him, the racers can hardly ignore the beauty of the environment around the Mandalika Circuit.

"No wonder, you can hardly ignore the beauty of the surrounding environment. Close proximity to the sea, exotic nature, and very friendly residents leave a lasting impression on the WSBK team and racers. The enthusiasm of the community for the WSBK event is also real and everywhere," wrote Speedweek.

The fact that the weather conditions often change suddenly which makes the race was postponed can still be accepted with pleasure by the drivers and teams.

"The tropics are physically challenging and the heavy rain on the weekend caused race delays, but it's still welcome given the many positive aspects," wrote Speedweek.

"But of course, complaints that arise must be resolved with solutions. [What is clear] For Superbike fans from Europe, meeting in Indonesia is the best opportunity to combine vacations and hobbies similar to those in exotic Portimao."
