AN OVERVIEW OF THE YEAR 2021 FOR ME.

First I want to appreciate God for the wonderful year 2021. It's been an awesome year for me. Although so many things happened, bad and good it still was a year to look back to.

The year started with news for resumption to school. School activities all over the country had been grounded for almost a year since February 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

It was a breath of fresh air for so many students because everyone was tired of the wasted time. Few had moved on already though, engaging in some form of business to sustain themselves. Others, well were just trying to be fine.

So the year 2021 came with a fresh sense of optimism for me...

• And yeah it came with a bang. January 2021 I got a new laptop. A HP Folio 9470m. My former one had gotten spoilt during the lockdown of 2020 and I was in dire need of a new one. Spoke with about two people and they helped me raise the remaining balance after I had saved up a significant for it.

• But something happened to my laptop in July 2021. My bag was stolen at my University's football field. Th bag contained my laptop, my phone, my ID cards, my ATM card, my school notes, my clothes😅( I had to change to my sport wear because I wanted to play ball). So I got stranded. It was like my whole life had been taken away. Mehn, I cried. Like I cried. For a week, I then fell sick the next day and couldn't go to school. I reported to the school's security officer, the local Police Station.
• But then something hooge happened... Broadcast messages which had been shared by my friends somehow got to a group of housemates. They called me one week after the theft and we met at a filing station in front of school where they told me that they know who stole my laptop and I could get it back with their help...
  
  
  At that moment, I really didn't know how to react. I was so excited. OMG was the only word I could utter. The backstory from the guys was that; The person who stole my bag was their hostel mate who is known for his stealing around the hostel. He steals anything and they have been looking for a way to pin a theft on him. So it happened that a day after he stle my bag, one of them went into his room to greet him and found him with my laptop.
  
  
  He then asked him if he owned it and he replied yes. He said he just bought it and he mentioned a ridiculous price. But because they knew the kind of person he was, the were still suspicious and made some investigations. They were able to get a key to his room and entered when he wasn't around. That was when they saw my bag and my I.D card that had my name. That was what confirmed their suspicion.
  
  
  So we made a plan to confront him with the S.U.G of my school and that was how I was able to recover all. Guess what, he paid a damage fee because he flashed my system of all it's content...
  But I was just glad to have gotten everything I had lost.
  My biggest Testimony of the year.

• Another highlight was I met with a beautiful and lovely friend. A lady actually and she also studys at my school. We became very good friends and hmmmm mmm mmm. Lets end that there.

• Also my results in school were a very important highlight of 2021 for me. It was year of awesome academic results. It might have not been impressive but it was growth from what I have had before...
• The HIVE FUNAAB hangout was also a highlight. Hanging out with friends especially at the end of the year was a nice experience. Looking forward to more in this new year. Thanks to @starstrings01 @temibot @hepziba @chosenfingers @monioluwa...
