The first meetup training with fellow hivians today 5th Nov 2022

​Good evening fellow hivians, I'm delighted to be here again with you guys. Today was awesome and just one event contributed highly to it. 3 days ago, a team of dedicated individuals moved to hive and it was officially launched on the 1st of Nov. As newbies, our journey to hive requires lots of steps and activities that's why our leaders decided we undergo weekly trainings, let's briefly analyze how it went.

The meetup was scheduled to begin by 4pm at our hive office which is located at No 24 mbak road in uyo, it could be easily located due to the huge hive banner which has been pasted to the building

I was conscious enough to be there some minutes to 4 but surprisingly I meet some of my team members sited there already while @ijelady guided some on how to sign up on the escency app. We patiently waited for more arrivals and booomm the event began in earnest after the following people showed up:

After the above chant, we proceeded to the day's business. Our leader took time to explain that hive is a block chain which could be accessed through many apps of which could be seen on the banner, she outlined some of such apps and encouraged us to try them out.

@ijelady told us about community incubation made available by hive as a way of supporting dedicated communities, she said we should be committed and never give up as we might be lucky to get one soon.

@ijelady warned us strictly against plagiarism and further stressed that it is an unforgivable crime, she went ahead to direct us on how to use the plagiarism checker tool to avoid falling a victim, she discouraged spamming and promoted originality.

Since most of our hive power is zero(0) which limits our activities on the platform, @ijelady taught us how to convert our steem to hive power or better still buy from an exchange called Probit Global of which we downloaded in a jiffy. She willingly carried us along and made sure that no one was left behind.

After that, she entertained questions from her members and trust me, we threw tons of questions at her. She took the pains to explain over and over again to our understanding.

It is said that opportunity comes once and we are ever ready to make good use of this opportunity, it's a rare but golden chance. Babies are trained until they sit, then crawl, stand on their feet, walk and finally talk

We're just like babies but with time we'll be conversant with most activities on the platform, therefore, I encourage our teams members never to miss trainings and to be punctual besides we never stop learning till death
