This was so cool!
Queen Snakes are a species that I've heard about for years but had never had the opportunity to meet. While in Kansas a bit ago on a trip, I happened upon one that I managed to grab. These are about the only photos of it that I took, and I think they provide a good look at the species. They are a rather aquatic species, so finding one in a lake was no surprise. It's always cool to meet a new species, and the Queen Snake did not disappoint. Enjoy the photos.
