The little lilac blossoms through my lens

in OCD5 years ago

I took a small twig of lilac from a tree close to my place for another home macro photo session. This time I spray a little water drops on the blossomed buds for more interesting effects. I use only Lightroom and no additional effect from photoshop.

The first Photo is stacked from 13 images because the aperture I use was 2.8 and the focus area was too small. The result is pretty good.

Here you can see how small the twig was.

I chose a brighter vision because the thing looks bigger in light backgrounds and gives more softness and purity to the photo.

Focus on the last two photos is on the water drops and the soft blossoms make them impact more and more. On all photos, I put a positive amount of Post-Crop Vignetting, to capture the viewer's eye in the center of the image.

Beautiful shots, @outlinez, of course the first photo is the best, but I also like the ones with the blossoms closed very much ... very good work 😊

Thank you very much @johannpiber. Yes with focus stack I get better results, but not every time and its slow process

It was a pleasure to see the photos, @outlinez, you are most welcome 🙂

Sometimes I do also focus stacking, but I am very lazy in taking enough shots, so the result is often not as I expect. So I prefer to shoot my macros with a selected part in focus and the rest blurred ;)

Take care and have a wonderful weekend.

Thank you very much for the support @miti

Yes, the drops actually add to the effect.

Yes but I'm still not used to spray on all of my macro photos. Sometimes it appears very interesting reflections
