Authored by @ybanezkim26

After the deliberation of the community leaders/moderators of Toys on Hive Community, we now have the winners! Special thanks to @livinguktaiwan and @acidyo for the support in facilitating this contest.

Before the announcement of winners, let's have a look first at how the Toys on Hive has changed in terms of subscribers and engagements.

Before:

Now:

The purpose of the screenshots is to see how the community is doing before the contest and then after the contest. The most notable change in Toys on Hive Community is the increase in the number of subscribers from 186 to 280. That's 50.54% increase! Another is the increase in active users from 18 to 164. That's 811.11% increase! Not bad for the first community boost contest! For the weekly interactions, it increased from 32 to 542. That's 1,593.75% increase in weekly interactions! For the pending payouts, it increased from 22 to 1462. That's 6,545.45% increase!

Another notable metric is the number of blogs posted in the community within the contest period. For that, the reference would be the comment section of the contest post. Please refer to the link below:

That's a record of 53 posts curated by OCD within that period of the contest! The prize pool might have added some motivation:

That means the winners will receive:

1st Place: 35% of the rewards of the contest post = 12.819 HBD + 37.508 HP
2nd Place: 25% of the rewards of the contest post = 9.156 HBD + 26.792 HP
3rd Place: 20% of the rewards of the contest post = 7.325 HBD + 21.433 HP
4th Place: 10% of the rewards of the contest post = 3.662 HBD + 10.716 HP
5th Place: 10% of the rewards of the contest post = 3.662 HBD + 10.716 HP

Note: We decided to reward in HP instead of liquid HIVE.

Finally...

Here are the winners:

First Place: @pusen

The Dungeon Master's playground | If money wasn't an issue...

I wouldn't just buy one toy if money wasn't an issue. I would have built my very own playground! A playground, or more like a dungeon, where I can invite my friends over to play Dungeons & Dragons in. It would contain everything one might need to play the perfect game of D&D. Let's go over it in detail.

Second Place: @carolinacardoza

If money is not an issue, what types of toys would you buy? 🍃 🍂 🍁 My dream tree house. 🍃 🌿 🎋

When I was a child I dreamed of having many toys, I could make an endless list of everything I wanted to have, but I am only going to name a few, for example I always wanted to have a doll that had real hair, I would have liked to do her hair, put bows, tails, dress her up and more. But the truth is that I did not have that joy; the only doll I had and I remember with great affection was made of a resistant plastic that did not move at all, it did not even move its arms so it was difficult for me to put clothes on it.

Third Place: @wandergirl

If money is not an issue, what toy would I buy?

The question really got me excited and made me feel like a kid in a toy store given the freedom to pick any toy free of charge. Lots of toys come to mind, with the Nintendo Switch and a brand new mountain bike being the top choices. The Switch gives me the convenience to play the latest games with anyone and anywhere. I have yet to master biking and I like to travel a lot, so a bike is a no brainer, not to mention its health benefits. However, while I was looking for what toys I played with when I was younger, I came across this old picture of mine.

Fourth Place: @cre47iv3

OCD CONTEST #2: If money is not an issue, what types of toys would you buy?

If you ignore it for too long, it can get your attention by making noises or approaching you. It can move freely avoiding obstacles and approach the edge of a table without falling over. It can set alarms, change its eye color and dance if it likes the music.

Fifth Place: @juecoree

Toys on Hive: A Story of 1998 Space Cop Toy Car and Volkswagen Beetle

Growing up, I don't own many toys, not because my parents didn't buy one. I prefer to play outside rather than playing with toys. I don't crave a specific toy, but I like a card game or anime-related like Beyblade and Tamiya. I don't always ask for toys from my parents. I am a kid whose toys broke after few days his parent bought them. It is the reason why I don't play with toys a lot.

Congratulations to all the winners!
