Tie and Dye involves folding the fabric, pleating it, brinding it with rubber bands the pleating of a white or off-white cloth before adding the chemicals for dying it.

Tye and dye is widely taught in Schools. I did not do art but i have seen that being done by lots of Art students in my school. Thanks for educating us here as well. Its always sometime good to appreciate the process that a cloth goes through to come out in a particular design.
