Write this to spread #mentalhealthawareness

September is Suicide Prevention Awareness Month — a time to raise awareness on this stigmatized, and often taboo, topic.

Suicidal thoughts, much like mental health conditions, can affect anyone regardless of age, gender or background. In fact, suicide is often the result of an untreated mental health condition.
Suicidal thoughts, although common, should not be considered normal and often indicate more serious issues.

I want to use my post to spread hope and vital information to people affected by suicide.
In my place, most of people will think if people have suicidal thought mean they are weak, lack of faith or even didn't be grateful about their lives.
That's why many people just keep silent and suffer without asking help because others will just judge them not help.

Why not we all start to understand and care more about what they are really going through. Let's make others feel free and safe to talk about suicide or other mental health issues so they could get help. By listening to them without judgment you will make them feel care and not alone.

These are Some Facts about Suicide

If you're having some suicidal thoughts now please remember Suicide is NOT the answer.

you are not alone,
there is help
and there is always hope for you.

Please be open to someone you trust and ask for help.
Make an appointment with a health care professional to talk about what you’re thinking or how you’re feeling.
It's okay to talk about suicide. Suicidal thoughts are a symptom, just like any other — they can be treated.
