Have you heard of Ginger peanut 😋 or even had a taste of it?

Hello everyone in this lovely community, am here today to teach us how to prepare peanut specifically Ginger peanut. Before I go on, I would like to explain to us what peanut is as well as it's nutritional value. As some of us know peanut is a snack, a healthy one at that, it's rich in protein, fats and oil, carbohydrate etc it can go with drinks and smoothie.

So now to prepare a peanut you will need the following ingredients:

• All purpose Flour (3cups)
• Granulated sugar(1 cup)
• 2 Eggs
• 1 tsp baking powder
• 1tsp coconut flavor
• Blended ginger or 1 tbsp of powdered ginger.
• 1tbsp of nutmeg powder
• 2 cups of fresh uncooked Groundnut
• ½ liter vegetable oil
• ½ tsp salt

Step 1: mix all dry ingredients together in a bowl ( flour, nutmeg, ginger powder, baking powder), and all wet ingredients in another bowl with the sugar, salt and blended ginger added to melt inside.

Step 2: select the raw Groundnut to remove dirt's or impurities of any kind from it in a tray, and then pour it into another bowl.

Step 3: into the bowl of raw Groundnut, gradually sprinkle the sugar and salt syrup ( liquid ingredients) and then shake the Groundnut thoroughly to ensure the liquid wets all the seeds in the bowl.

Step 4: sprinkle some of the dry ingredients on the already wet Groundnut seeds and shake vigorously to coat it properly. Continue the process from step 3 to step 4, until the groundnut is coated to your taste, after which it's ready for frying.

Step 5: preheat the oil in a frying pan 🍳, under moderate heat,after which you pour the coated peanut as soon as the oil becomes hot and stir until it becomes golden brown, then remove it from the oil using a frying spoon and sifter to drain the excess oil. Allow it to cool and then package in an airtight container for consumption or for sale.
