Sure, the earning might not compare to top or even mid-range YouTube creators
Would that be the case when STEEM will be sitting at its ATH again? Because their earnings is the pegged dollar...and its value is going down...and will keep going down...
ATH? It doesn't even have to get that high to be one of the largest distributors in the media world. 26Million Steem out of the pool at the moment.
@ $1 That is 26M
@ $2 That is 52M
@ $5 That is 130M
@ $10 That is 260M
and that is just the value of the yearly pool :)
if we can build the ecosystem so in two years the floor price is above one, and in five years above 4, we are sitting very pretty.
That would be the flocking period...I am telling you.
Do you ever get the sense that we are so close, yet so far? A few more stars need to align.
What are the steps Steem needs to make to get there you think? I know communities are coming, that can only help, but are there other things I'm missing?
UX. A lot of the applications are similar to what Steem always was, what they need to do is find what people love and make the tokenization a native part of the experience, not a focus or an afterthought. This is a learning process though, and in time and as more developers get involved, innovation and wide use case will be added. If one doesn't like the experience of Steem, they are only here for the money - that'll never drive long-term adoption.
I see. Personally I'm waiting for communities before continuing on my own projects. That might be the same for many others. I think they'll enable a lot of possibilities of reaching people outside Steem and having them use it and not even being aware of it.
