It's Friday and it's the beginning of weekend. Over here in Nigeria, Fridays and Saturdays at most are the days to prepare different kinds of soup such as Afang, Editan, Melon, Bitter leaf, Okro, Atama, White soup etc which will take us till the following week.
All of the above are African delicacies easy to prepare and delicious as well.

Okay so, I decided to prepare okro soup for this weekend. It's a simple soup to prepare in an hour. Trust me when I'm done tutoring you, you'll call for yours.

And vegetables...

Procedures

  • Wash your okro very well to avoid sand. Cut the head and slice it
  • Wash your vegetables as well to avoid sand
  • Prepare, wash and stir your meat, fish, cow skin, perewinkle, snail, Stockfish etc....
  • Wash your pot and pour the okro inside together with the meat, fish, snail, perewinkle etc
  • Add water depending on how thick you want the soup to be
  • Add Palm oil, salt, Maggi, pepper, crayfish etc and allow it to boil for about 10 mins
  • Turn and add your fresh vegetables then bring it down.

After that being done, your soup is ready to be consumed either with garri, semovita, fufu, wheat etc. Any one you choose will go well 😏

I took time to prepare mine, you can as well. Don't rush, one step at a time. Before I forget, mine was delicious in case you want to have a taste, you're totally free to do so.

Thank you so much for reading and engaging my blog, I appreciate.

Do have a wonderful day and stay safe.
