About me

in #introduceyourself4 years ago (edited)

Hello everyone!!

My name is Marko and this is my first post on Hive.

First, some basics: I am a forestry student at university of Zagreb (Croatia). Therefor my main occupation is about nature, animals and plants, but also entomology (science about bugs (yes that is a thing)).

After school activities

As every real student, I have a lot of activities to distract me from studying.

Travel

It's not a surprise, most people love to travel. But students have that special power to travel to the most amazing destinations with as little money as possible. In some of my future posts I am hoping to show you some of my travels.

photography and astronomy

In free time I love to go on walks and take some photos. But even more I love astronomy. In some of my future posts I hope to bring you some of that fascinating world of stars and photography.

Everything else

I don't want to be too long for the firs time, so I just say a few words about everything else.

With astronomy there is always love for the skies, but there is not a lot of rockets in Croatia so my love are airplanes and parachute. Hope that there will be time and a good audience to write about it and have a good discussion.

Hi from the sky

Also, when there is a chance I love to attend non-formal educations and debates about green politics, ecology and human rights.

Farming

Most of my life I was on a family farm, and every summer I go home to help. Main occupiers are crops like maize, wheat, canola, sunflower, and others. But we also have cattle and a two peacocks.
