I know I haven't been too active on here recently. It has been 4 months now since my return post and an reintroduction, and I already feel like I should do another one. But I'll try not to.

From the plans that I have described in the above post, none have been realized — mostly due to external reasons, I believe, although not without any blame to put on me. I could have done more, I could have done better is a thought I am very accustomed to. And although with years I learned how to appreciate myself at least a bit, I feel this innate sense of strive will be there with me till my last day.
But it's not true that these unfulfilled plans did not influence the course of my life in the last few months. It's quite the opposite!
The proposal & RCR app
The DHF Proposal, that we have originally created with @hallmann and other great people gathered around the @krolestwo initiative, did not go through. Although it would have made great things possible, it helped me clarify some of my visions and showed that the path forward for @krolestwo is a closer integration with the web3 technology.
One of the results of this seemingly unsuccessful DHF undertaking is the new RCR | KBK app, which is going to be the de facto standard way of organizing social life in @krolestwo, creating its laws, running its economy, and much more. All this tokenized and powered by Hive blockchain.
There's a lot to talk about, and I surely will talk about it more in the future. Quite soon, actually—so be sure to follow and watch out for the news in the upcoming days!
Digital Exhibitions App
Originally intended as a part of the DHF proposal, Digital Exhibitions App never left the conceptual stage... yet! The idea still haunts me on a daily basis, and I will be restless until I try to make it happen. I believe it has a strong economical foundation, as well as an important social reason to exist. And with the help of blockchain & cryptocurrency, I want to prove that history can leverage newest technologies, and newest technologies can help society- and history-focused endeavors.
Moreover, my growing interest in history, traditional culture and also my local Kliszczak culture in which I was born and raised, led my and a few other people from my home village to form an official association dedicated to studying and saving everything related to our region: from history, through art and culture, to even preserving local nature.
I also hope that through this channel I will be able to create the Digital Exhibitions App.
Content Blocks
This is another idea which I believe could help the Hive blockchain grow, offer many more use cases, and be more user friendly in general. I plan to implement the first proof of concept of this project, and that will be done as part of developing the RCR | KBK App. More on that soon!

There's also a lot more going on unrelated to these plans.
Ephemera
In December I released a second musical audition/playlist, called Ephemera (Efemeryda in Polish).
“Ephemera, or the story of a certain acquaintance” is a somewhat unorthodox broadcast that was not generated by artificial intelligence. It is a musical story about what sometimes happens and passes. The playlist is also a dialogue between what is old and new, as well as between Polish and Anglo-Saxon culture.

Sri Lanka
In December I have traveled with my girlfriend to see Sri Lanka. That was a wonderful trip and quite a memorable experience. I would love to share more, but I have almost 2000 photos to look through and process.
I hope in February we with my girlfriend will be able to actually hold an event in @krolestwo, where we will share our experience of Sri Lanka, tell some interesting and funny stories about our trip, and show some photos and videos.
Once that happens, I will be sure to also share that material with you here. Be on the lookout!
Job Search
Yes, the time has come for me to start searching for a new job for real. There are two reasons to that:
- I have collected many reflections and inspirations regarding my career, learned a lot of new things, and am ready to put them to work. I actually love doing stuff and feel like I have took the time to rest, now it's time to start working.
- More down to earth reason is that I have eaten through a lot of my savings already, and would like to start making the stash bigger again, instead of making it thinner.
Currently I send out CVs, reach out to people and have already stared a few processes with some companies. We will see where this all will lead me. I will be sure to post updates.
By the way, if you are looking for a talented full stack developer and leader for your project, let me know! If there's a dream job somewhere out there, it's most likely on Hive! You can learn more about me at mietek.dev.
