My Introduction to the Hive Community

in OCD3 years ago

Hello everyone, I joined Hive back in October 1, 2020 at the first cryptos rally. I signed up but didn't know exactly what to post and, caught up in trading instead, I soon forgot I had registered... honestly it was a really bad mistake! If I had continued posting and without investing, I could have easily grown at least up to 300 HP, which translates today in about $ 330, about 500%. Regrets aside, I introduce myself.

Who am I?

My name is Kerem, I'm a guy of Turkish origin who has been living in the UK for a long time now. I found out about Hive by accident by googling the Sweatcoin app, which a friend of mine told me about and which he himself used, but it turned out to be a real disappointment. While searching for this app I also found Actifit and had studied its workings in depth, but then I thought it was too complicated and unprofitable, so I jumped on Sweatcoin. For those not familiar with the app I can say that it's not worth it.

I came back to Hive from time to time and eventually, encouraged by the rising price, I said to myself: why not give it a try? So here I am.

I have always been passionate about IT and everything related to technology, the world of cryptocurrencies and blockchain and I believe that in the future those who are not familiar with these will have many problems. Hive intrigued me a lot, because it is a free ecosystem, or rather it is a community that has decided to be free from the centralisation operated by Justin Sun on Steem while continuing to live what was the original spirit behind this project. Other platforms also offer the possibility to earn money by writing, but I think that here on Hive it is much more important to interact than to write posts by making collages of articles found left and right on the web.

About my nickname

Why mastermok92? Mok is the name of a café where I worked briefly during a summer trip around Europe. I returned to that cafe again just a few days before registering for Hive, but this time only as a customer.

What do I expect from Hive?

On Hive I expect to find a lot of people who are as passionate as I am about technology so that we can talk, discuss and learn about new trends or discuss cryptocurrencies and trading. I hope to be able to write some posts myself. Recently I've also got into prototyping with Arduino and Nodemcu, I hope to share some projects with you soon.

Finally, I'd like to post progressions of my sports activities, which is the first reason I came to know about Hive. In the past I was much more regular in my physical activity, now I am much less so due to the pandemic we all experienced.

That's all for now, I hope to read from you soon.
