Hello and good evening Hive friends wherever you are. I hope you are in good health and always successful. On this occasion I want to post about my day, working in the village.
As usual I wake up at 9.30 am, take a shower and eat and prepare my body for the day ahead.
Following breakfast, without time for coffee, I hurriedly went to the cemetery to take part in the mutual cooperation event. Soon we enter the month of Ramadan, and so the bush should be cleaned, especially in burial places.
This mutual cooperation event is held once a year at the start of Ramadan. The event is held at the burial place because at our cemetery is large - people who died in the next village are also buried in our ground.
A feast takes place at the start of the event in which the families of the dead will come to to take part. We need first though to clean the area so it does not become haunted. Also we take pride in hosting the event and do not want to feel ashamed thinking that the visitors believe we have not kept the rounds clean out of respect for the dead.
Most of the guests come on holidays and pray at the graves for their families. If the burial place is not taken care of it will become a forest - we want visitors to feel we are taking care of the deceased.
The youth leader of Teungoh Muttaqin village said that this mutual cooperation activity is a form of togetherness between residents, working and shoulder to shoulder to clean the cemetery, and building bonds between us.
"Together we clean the cemetery, including the part which is close to a road that is often crossed by local residents. If it is not cleaned it will not be good for other communities that pass by," he said.
The cleaning of the TPU was commanded by the Head of Teungoh Village, Mr. Badruddin, which started at around 07.30 ending at 10.30 in the afternoon. All youths, village officials, some people from outside Teungoh village who have family graves in the cemetery also participated in this activity.
According to the village head, the spirit of mutual cooperation has become a tradition in every social activity in Teungoh village. In this case the TPU, the purpose of this activity is not limited to the cleanliness and beauty of the cemetery, but indirectly maintaining and caring for the values of local wisdom, 'emphasized the village head.
Maintaining the cleanliness and beauty of the Teungoh Village Public Cemetery (TPU), Syamtalira Aron District, North Aceh Regency, the Village Officials and Teungoh Village Residents, Saturday (010/04/2021), carried out the Gotong Royong activity to clean the Teungoh Village TPU.
Since the early morning, the village government and residents flocked to the Teungoh Village Public Cemetery (TPU) to work together and pray together. It can be seen that the culture of mutual cooperation that has always been put forward in Teungoh Village is still well preserved.
