My name is Malka, I am from Delhi, born and raised there. I never knew my parents but I was raised by an amazing couple who I regard to as parents. They have supported me in many ways that if I start to mention them, the list will be quite long. I love reading, writing and traveling. For now I am not that financially buoyant for traveling and I hope to get to travel round the world someday.
How did I come across Hive
I came across hive when I was researching on a new book to Read early this week. Then I saw peakd.com site, so I clicked it as I was curious. Played the clip and I understood that this is a platform for writers.
Since I was a child I love writing, like to write short stories and poems. I hope I get to learn more from the amazing writers and also get to read good articles here. I am not so good in writing, but I will appreciate every criticism and corrections from this platform and improve on being a better writer than I was before I joined.
I don't really understand how the platform works and how to make using of writing pad, but I am willing to learn. Please pardon any mistakes here on my first post. I promise to better as time goes on.
With time I will upload my display image and have an identity here. I hope to explore every inch of this platform and meet amazing people. Thank you all for having me here and I hope I welcome here.

You're welcome to the community @malka. Apparently you can start by joining different community of your choice and engage with people there. You will definitely get so much people to help you. Example of such community is @hive-learners and @newbies-hive.
They are not two. There's so many other communities here on hive. Just search and join the ones that interest you.
