Amazing Snail steppe

in OCD5 years ago

Hello everybody!

Summer is coming to an end ... At this time, usually, in the steppe, blades of grass are strewn with shells. Amazing creatures with life inside. I took several shots of the seashells from different angles.

There are a lot of snails with a similar shell. And it is not easy to determine their type or even genus.

Sources say that "More than a dozen of these species are known, belonging not to one, but to four genera: Xeropicta, Xerolenta, Heliopsis, Cernuella." I am not qualified in this field. 🙄

I just took pictures ... And now I can see the shells better.

Wow ... What a great photo. We call this the circular snail, because the shell is circular in shape. You have rarely made posts during this time. How are you my friend
