I think, if patience had medals, I would be a gold medalist just for creating this account. As my friend told me about Ecency, or I should say Hive, IDK whatever it is for now and I am sorry for that. But right now, I am using Ecency and I will have to ask him again, which I will surely do. So, I was saying, I thought it would be a quick and easy “sign up”, but fate had some other plans. It kept on saying that I am using some sort of VPN and I did not even had one downloaded. Honestly after so many tries, I thought this platform just did not want me here at all.
I was lucky that a friend came to me (I asked him to come over) and said ‘Relax, lemme give it a try’. So before anything else, I am very thankful to him because without his help I might had just quit and blamed my fate – human’s instinctive nature.
So, why am I here? The simple answer is to grow and to earn.
My friend suggested me this platform back in June, and I just procrastinated without paying any heed. Later on, I thought about it for a while and now, I have decided to join and stay. Being an introvert, my only fear is why would anyone like to read/hear my thoughts. Although, writing excites me - way more than speaking - but it also scares me. My desire to write a better or I should say a perfect piece halts everything. But now, I have decided to share my observations, thoughts and some snaps. This time, I will do it without giving it a worrisome thought. I am willing to teach, to learn from others and slowly find my own space.
And let me be honest, growth is not the only reason for my joining. I am also here to earn some extra gains - the mighty capital. Who does not like earning while learning? Getting rewarded for creativity, and writing that pays for a cup of tea or may two sounds pretty to me. Being a student, I always seek to learn, I always try to gain new skills.
ENOUGH! Yes, enough of my boring doctrine, let me tell you guys about special-not-so-special me. I am a big sports lover: cricket, badminton and sometimes formula racing. And when it comes to choose one, I always go for cricket, I love to play and watch it as well. My favorite player is ‘Pat Cummins’ of Australia.
Another speciality of mine is nature: green spaces, wide skies, dusty villages - and the all powerful air. How can one skip it? It carries oxygen; the prime element for our survival.
I guess, it is enough and to be honest, I do not know what to write anymore. Of course, I will learn it ahead, as consistency and punctuality is the key.
So here is to a new beginning, better interaction, improved writing and hopefully fewer struggles. I am glad to be here and I am somewhat excited - scared too!
