Civerino's Edinburgh - Italian Street Food at its Finest! - Places To Eat in Scotland

in OCD4 years ago

Hey Hive

On a recent day out in Edinburgh ,Scotland's capital city I decided to checkout Civerino's Pizza place in Hunter Square.

Its hard to know where to eat out in Edinburgh ,really when you visit the city you are spoiled for choice. When it come's to pizza we have a handful of places that can rival even NYC'S finest slice's.

Civerino's is one of the most highly regarded pizza places in the city so I figured it would be a good place to start.

I ordered a 14 inch pepperoni which was stone-baked and garnished with parsley .

You can hear a beautiful crispy cracking sound as the stonebaked crust is cut....mmmmmm :)

The pizza was hands down the best restaurant pizza I have tried in Scotland so far.Id give it a solid 10/10 .In my opinion the only pizza that will top this is a classic Wood-fired style slice which I have yet to find in the city.

The drinks menu had an interesting selection of cocktails so this time round I tried a Death Before Classic Daiquiri which was made with rum, raspberry and blackcurrant syrup fresh lime and sugar syrup.

To finish up instead of having a desert I decided to try A Civerino's Spritz which is a orange slush drink with Prosecco and Aperol (A classic rhubarb and orange flavoured aperitif from Italy.)

The beauty of these slush cocktails is that you can walk freely around the city while drinking it.

So overall for anyone visiting Edinburgh looking for well priced Italian food, fast service, great cocktails and some of the best pizza the city has to offer Civerino's is well worth a visit.

It's a 10/10 from me
