That is very sad, my friend, and even more sad is the fact that so many people believe them, because not everybody knows someone who got infected.
And it's sad that the people who help and work in the war against this virus have to die because they don't get enough protection gear... 😢

Howdy again sir johannpiber! Yes indeed, very sad about the health care workers but like you said in another comment about the world being better prepared for the next one, that is so true! And it seems to me that whenever you are very prepared for something bad to happen...it never does. lol..it's only when you get caught by surprise that something happens when you least expect it and are not prepared for it!
At least it never happens that bad when you are prepared, I think 😉
But you are right - most bad and also good things happen by surprise when you don't expect something to happen.
So let's be prepared and wait for the second wave or a worse virus, and it might never happen 😉

Howdy again sir johannpiber! Oh man, a worse virus. I'm sure it will happen someday but hopefully not in our lifetime. I mean, the economic and death and suffering was bad enough this time, I can't imagine what a worse virus would be like. But we are kind of prepared for one at least. Thanks for that depressing thought. lol.
I hope the same as you do - we don't need another virus or anything else that stops the whole world from spinning. I hope my reply was not too depressing for you, and as I said - be prepared and it might never happen ;)

Howdy again sir johannpiber! I was reading about how people are acting now with their finances since the virus here. They are saving money like never before and they are buying survival supplies like never before so most will definitely be better prepared for the next crises to happen.
Well, most people are saving money but maybe not in Florida. I read that pool installation sales have increased 400%! lol. People figure if they are going to be stuck at home they might as well enjoy a pool.
Today I was out working on taking apart a concrete block wall on one of the large planters I'm turning into patios and I uncovered two snake "nests" with dozens of snake eggs in the holes of the concrete blocks. Creeped me out! lol.
I'm reassembling the wall but those holes in the concrete blocks are gonna be filled with concrete!
I don't think that the people here have changed much in relation to savings or preparation, but to be honest, I didn't care much about the news lately, because it was every day the same for the past months.
Snake eggs? Cool, did you cook them? Hopefully the mama snakes will not search for their nests 😆

Howdy sir johannpiber! Well I had killed two snakes close to those nests in the last couple of weeks and I think those were the parents. I don't like to kill anything but with snakes, if you don't kill them they hang around and think it's their home.
I agree about the news, talk about boring! Same thing every single day for months. Maybe you all over there keep more supplies on hand than we do to begin with.
