RE: Hey Everyone! Join Me in the Exciting Tale of My Life😃

in OCD8 months ago

It's truly fascinating to hear about your connection with your 84-year-old house and the joy you find in unraveling its mysteries. Your vegetable garden sounds like a wonderful project, and I'm glad you're considering getting back into it this year. Growing your own food can indeed be uplifting and nourishing, both physically and mentally.

I can understand your concerns about the changes happening in your neighborhood with the construction and potential development. It's disheartening when the tranquility you sought is threatened. The idea of moving to Scotland or Ireland sounds like a delightful dream – who knows, sometimes a change of scenery can bring a whole new chapter of peace and joy.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. Wishing you the best in navigating the challenges and enjoying the unique journey your home provides😊🏡

Just so you understand, I have only been in this place since 2020.
I moved to the Atlanta area in 2009, after many MANY years spent homeless and on drugs and alcohol, I was unemployed and living in a relatives basement. 2010, I got a job as a part time CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant), then I discovered that the nursing homes where I was working changing diapers, would pay me to play ♫♪Music♫♪ as an entertainer, and things began looking up for me.
My Social Security disability came through in 2016 which gave me a lump sum back pay enough to get my car, and a small monthly check.
Then in 2019 my VA disability (PTSD) came through, and for the first time in my life I actually have a decent income, decent for me anyway.
I have been cursed for years but now I am blessed.

Your resilience and strength shine through your story. It's truly inspiring to hear how you turned your life around, overcoming challenges and finding success as a CNA and entertainer. The fact that you've received the recognition and support through Social Security disability and VA disability is well-deserved.

Life's journey can be filled with ups and downs, and your transformation from difficult times to a place of stability is a testament to your inner strength. Your positive outlook on your current situation reflects a remarkable mindset.
Wishing you continued blessings and joy on your journey.
