Greetings, fellow members of the Hive community! Hey, everyone! I hope to leave a positive impression on all of you and anticipate that this community will be a catalyst for our growth and personal development. Before diving into my introductory blog, let me take a moment to introduce myself.
You can call me @itxmehamza, and I am 21 Year Old. Currently enrolled as a Computer Science student at a University of Okara in Okara city of Pakistan, I'm eager to share a bit about my life journey.
Background Insights
As the eldest among my three siblings, my family dynamics are unique. My younger sister completed 12 grade and toke admission in my university in Computational Physic program. She wants to be a Scientist in future. Meanwhile, my brother, the youngest child, in the 9th grade at a Educator School. As for me, I'm a working student, and my educational expenses are generously covered by myself. We all reside together, creating a close-knit family with unique experiences.
Academic Journey
Academically, I've consistently been an achiever from my elementary days up to now, and I owe it all to the grace of God. Striving to make my parents proud remains my driving force. The financial challenges my family faces make academic success a means to secure a brighter future for us all.
Future Aspirations
As a final-year computer science student, I'm eagerly pursuing opportunities that will catapult me into the professional realm, Currently on the lookout for enriching internships that will not only complement my academic knowledge but also provide hands-on experience in the dynamic field of computer science. Additionally, I'm exploring targeted courses to further refine my skills and stay ahead of the ever-evolving tech landscape. Excited to embrace new challenges and chart my course towards a rewarding career! Then my aiming is to secure a high-ranking position in the job market.
Personal Insights
On a personal note, I'm not particularly choosy when it comes to food. Strawberry top my list of favorite fruits, and lady's finger is my preferred vegetable. A classic breakfast choice for me is eggplant with eggs. I have a couple of pet peeves—disliking when people leave without saying goodbye and feeling irked when someone repeatedly issues orders without attempting the task themselves.
Hobbies
Playing Badminton: The thrill of the game and the swift movements on the court make badminton my go-to physical activity.
Watching Netflix: When it's time to unwind, you'll find me immersed in the gripping worlds of "Money Heist" and "The Witcher" on Netflix. These series are my absolute favorites, offering the perfect blend of excitement and fantasy.
I'm excited to be a part of this community and look forward to connecting with all of you. Here's to new beginnings and shared experiences in the Hive😃

Hi @itxmehamza , I saw your comment in the Terminal, correcting your username
You should fix this in your blog above as well:
You can call me @itsmehamza, and I am 21 Year Old
Otherwise, welcome to the Hive. I hope you experience much success and growth here.

Thanks for pointing that out, and I appreciate your watchful eye! I've updated my username in the post above now. Your attention to detail is awesome. Thanks again😃
My attention to detail can be a pain in the A$$ sometimes as well. I am more than a little OCD, I'm a grammar Nazi (in English) and I suffer from PTSD, so I have anger management issues,
Most people do not enjoy spending time with me, so even though I have a nice house and I'm working on making it better
I am alone nearly all the time, except for my cat, "His Royal Highness, Crown Prince Tommy of Assholia"
I have 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, 1.6 acres of land more than half of it at the back is just woods
I appreciate your honesty and openness. It sounds like you've got a unique sense of humor with "His Royal Highness, Crown Prince Tommy of Assholia" – what a fantastic cat name. Your house and land also sound like a peaceful haven, especially with the woods in the back. Remember, everyone has their quirks and challenges, and your self-awareness is a valuable asset. If you ever want to share more or just chat, I'm here for you.
Just so you'll know, my house we built 15 years before I was born, so the house is 84 yrs old, I will be 69 this summer
An 84 yr old house comes with 84 yr old problems and mysteries. I love the mysteries, I almost feel like I'm an archeologist, trying to figure out how things were configured in the past, what were they doing here in 1940 etc etc...
Every year I've put in a vegetable garden in the back yard, but last year I didn't work that much in it, health and depression... this year I'm going to try to do more.
Growing your own food is better for you and uplifting.
As for it being "a peaceful havne" that is specifically why I bought this place, now this "community" voted to incorporate and become a city (I voted against it).
There is construction going on everywhere, apartments (multi family mostly, means lots of cars and more noise) so far, the nearest such construction is about ½ mile away, however a "land locked" parcel (3.7 acres) IMMEDIATELY adjacent to my woods just sold. I am terrified there will be a multi family unit going in back there.
The biggest problem this will cause is the only access to this landlocked parcel is an easement that runs RIGHT NEXT to my privacy fence, about 15 feet from my bedroom wall.
Imaging the traffic, loud stereos playing and gun fire that will be passing near my bed.
I'm considering selling and moving to Scotland or Ireland ha ha ha
Nice chatting.
It's truly fascinating to hear about your connection with your 84-year-old house and the joy you find in unraveling its mysteries. Your vegetable garden sounds like a wonderful project, and I'm glad you're considering getting back into it this year. Growing your own food can indeed be uplifting and nourishing, both physically and mentally.
I can understand your concerns about the changes happening in your neighborhood with the construction and potential development. It's disheartening when the tranquility you sought is threatened. The idea of moving to Scotland or Ireland sounds like a delightful dream – who knows, sometimes a change of scenery can bring a whole new chapter of peace and joy.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts. Wishing you the best in navigating the challenges and enjoying the unique journey your home provides😊🏡
Just so you understand, I have only been in this place since 2020.
I moved to the Atlanta area in 2009, after many MANY years spent homeless and on drugs and alcohol, I was unemployed and living in a relatives basement. 2010, I got a job as a part time CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant), then I discovered that the nursing homes where I was working changing diapers, would pay me to play ♫♪Music♫♪ as an entertainer, and things began looking up for me.
My Social Security disability came through in 2016 which gave me a lump sum back pay enough to get my car, and a small monthly check.
Then in 2019 my VA disability (PTSD) came through, and for the first time in my life I actually have a decent income, decent for me anyway.
I have been cursed for years but now I am blessed.
Everyone on the blockchain is given a certain amount of "RESOURCE CREDITS" (RC) that can be "spent" in publishing posts, writing comments, etc. Everything we do requires a few RC to accomplish, similar to "mana" or "gas" on other blockchains. We are given RC depending on how much HIVE POWER (HP) we have staked. If you don't have much HP, you will use all of your RC quickly. RC recharges at a rate of 20% each day.
You have been given a temporary delegation ("loan") of HP to provide you with a greater allotment of RC, courtesy of @theterminal's RC-assist project. We ask that you:
• do not plagiarize (steal or 'spin' others' work)
• remain active
• comment/upvote others' posts to build your network
• PowerUp rewards to grow your account, do not 'cash-out' to an exchange
You may check your RC any time at https://hiveblocks.com/@itxmehamza
The best of luck to you on Hive! 🙂
