My Hive Introductory Post🤗

Hi! I'm OKON CHUKWUEMEKA BENNETH, but instead of that long name you could just call me iBenneth. I for a person find it really exciting meeting and getting to know someone new, it's like going on an adventure in someone elses life. So come on let me guide past my own adventure.

So like I told you I'm OKON CHUKWUEMEKA BENNETH but the funny thing about this is that I never knew I beared the name BENNETH, funny right?? And I actually don't have that much names, well I actually got to find out about the name after my secondary school days. My Dad called me one day saying he's angry at the fact that I don't use the name, in my head I went "What name?". According to him I inherited the name from my grandfather ( my mother's father) he said that when he came to ask for my mother's hand in marriage my grandfather honoured him despite his background. My grandfather was a king so for someone with no royal background coming to ask for a Princess hand in marriage, you must definitely have substance and when I say substance I mean MONEY! But my Dad as at that time was just a mere Police recruit earning what can barely sustain him. But instead of my grandfather the King to chase him out he instead honoured him by welcoming him with open arms. So he decided to honour my grandfather back by giving me the name. Truth be told I actually do love the name and the meaning attached to the name, "Blessed" so you could also call me Blessed!

Moving on...

After my Junior secondary school days which I had at Sunshine International High School in ibadan, I went for my Senior Secondary School at Oladipo Alayande School of Science , also in Ibadan. O.A.S.O.S for short really did bring me out of my shell, I was really this shy ajebutter kid that never liked to get noticed. I was really the shy type, actually I still am but only to the minimum now, my mum was the Headmistress of Sunshine Kiddies (that's the primary arm of my school) so I had to keep the good boy personality, never get into trouble kind of boy which I had no problem doing because I actually didn't have that in me, I mean I am a good guy by default. My elder sister Precious, was also in Sunshine International along with myself but was 2 class higher than I was in. My mum wanted me to go to a science school all due to the fact that I loved playing with insects and animals. I could catch a snake and start caring for it like it's a puppy knowing fully well that I could get bitten, so my mum thought I had a thing for the science world which I also thought I did but after getting into science school I noticed it's all calculations(I hated and less practical I got fed and only just tried to get promoted to the next class it really wasn't that much trouble cause I moved with the brilliant but in between kibd of guys. When I say in between I mean they're not bad neither are they good, we just knew when and how to blend in. In the real sense I'm actually the Art kind of guy, I draw, I sing, I play the acoustic guitar mainly just for writing my songs and I also dance(I think, I'm not so sure if I still do that much) well I think I do a little, that should still count.

After my senior secondary school that's writing my Senior WAEC and NECO I actually decided to stay home for a year instead of writing my UTME examination and head straight into the university, but I didn't I stayed back and attended UTME lessons which I was serious when I started but became less serious along the way, why? I met a lady called Deborah, Debbie for short was beautiful, so beautiful that I never really saw her falling for a guy like myself, not that I'm not good looking but not as handsome for someone like Debbie. I mean there was this guy called Specimen, not hus real name though(thinking about it I never knew what that guy's real name was). He is a rapper and a singer and he liked Debbie, I think and he was handsome, I'm a guy and I attest to the fact that he was handsome. So while Debbie was trying to be close to me during that period I was really undecieve if I should play along or just let go cause she was off my league as at then. Yeah, as at then not anymore( it's not pride, it's God-fidence).

Talking about God, I really respect that Big Man up there, He's really been seeing me through. And yeah the "I" in "IBenneth" stands for Him ("I" am that "I" am). Do you get it? If you don't get it forget about it. So here's the thing you'll be seeing alot of me more frequently, we'll be having more of the adventurous walk together. You'll be getting know about what I like, maybe who I like, what kind of movies I like(oh, I love watching movies) and not the romantic movies I mean action, adventure, horror, animations(yeah! I watch cartoons, deal with it!) Maybe, because I'm the last born. Oh! I didn't tell you? Well, I'm the last born of 4 children.

I've got a huge love for wrist beads. I actually prefer wearing a bead to wearing a wristwatch. Well I used to love wristwatch but for a very long while the wrist bead has taken over that space. I could spend my money getting beads that catches my eye but careless about getting a wristwatch. So just in case you want to get me a preset if it's not a guitar you can get me a fashionable wrist bead.

I think that'll be all for now, but don't you worry I'll be back with more, maybe next time I'll tell you about my girlfriend, that's if I'm chanced to have one before then. Until then I still remain IBenneth, stay cool but don't freeze. Peace out!
