Granite, eh? I've carved granite, since you bring up that type of stone. With stone, it's the angle of approach, always. Correct angle means chunks of stone separate. Water carves stone better than I can. I'd show you picture, but it's going into a post.
Hmmmm....I can see the "made of ANZAC biscuits. Ohhh, added in gun parts to the granite, well that changes the angle of approach completely. Designs new carving tool accordingly

Coffee water, well that can create a nice stain, toning, since I've used it to do so. I approve.

Some have said I'm made of ANZAC biscuits and it's not for from the truth although granite and gun parts is what I'm really made of.
