You are one lucky dog @galenkp, that decent cop po po thing doesn't happen too much anymore here in the states. The last time I got a break from a cop was when I got stopped doing 80 in a 55 heading to New Jersey to visit the kids.
I totally lied, told the officer , so sorry sir, I was distracted and in a hurry to see my family, I just heard some very bad news. "I am dying". I told him. With fingers crossed and tears in my eyes, I said to myself, yeah, dying to get the hell out of here. Sweet young man said, slow down mam. Thank you kindly sir. I still feel guilty about that one Hehe.

I know right? I think the lad took pity on this old boy. I was polite, calm and respectful which probably helped. He could have taken my drivers license from me for three months. Close call huh?
Batting the eye lids works for some ladies...Seems dying and some tears does too...Still, you weren't lying...You were dying to get out of there...And the fine. Lol.
