Behind a mountain, on the edge of a rice field, in the middle of a forest, in a river, there are countless blessings that Allah SWT has given us.
Between the seas and mountains, there are countless variations of patterns and daily human activities. Rice fields and fields also provide a lot of livelihood for the hectic population of Aceh.
Mountains and forests in addition to providing beauty, also produce oxygen for our lives. How many gifts of natural wealth that Allah SWT has given that must be grateful for, living with the support of nature becomes very unique, uniqueness becomes tradition and culture. So that life itself becomes prosperous.
Like other tropical areas, most of Aceh's population has farmers as their main occupation, so Aceh is also known as an agricultural area with the main crop being rice. At first glance, it seems that the techniques and habits of the Acehnese in rice cultivation are relatively similar to those of residents in other areas.
Thus, post-harvest activities include several stages of activities, namely harvesting, stacking and collecting, threshing, cleaning, lifting, drying, and storing.
Piles of rice after it is harvested, and before it is processed into rice, as the staple food of the Acehnese people.
